Underneath the flap are two slash pockets with a third pocket on the back. These are dated around the mid 1990's but the fabric has remained in near new condition.

The pants are made of a gabardine wool blend fabric which is commonly used in suits and formal attire. No belt loops areon the trousers,though the fit can be adjusted with the use of two waist tabs. As with most German Bundeswehr gear, the pants are built to a high standard and accuracy.
